What you'll be doing:
- Helping teachers deliver awesome learning activities and programs that engage students. π‘
- Contributing ideas to plan and assess how students learn, both individually and in groups. π€
- Supervising students' activities, whether in the classroom or during exciting off-site adventures. ποΈ
- Keeping a close eye on student progress, celebrating their achievements, and supporting their development. π
- Reporting on student progress to teachers and managers to help tailor Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans, and Personal Care. π
- Collaborating with parents and carers (alongside teachers!) to ensure smooth communication about student well-being. π€
- Keeping our school's information systems up-to-date by recording important student data. π»
- Getting the classroom ready for action β preparing learning equipment and keeping the space clean and tidy. π§Ό

Key responsibilities
- Assist teaching staff in the delivery of learning activities and work programmes
- Provide input into the planning and evaluation of learning activities for individuals and groups of students
- Supervise the activities of individuals or groups of students both in and out of the classroom
- Monitor individual studentsβ progress, achievements and development and report these to the teaching staff / line manager
- Liaise with parents and carers in conjunction with the teaching staff to ensure effective communication concerning the students' well-being
