What you'll be doing:

• Getting samples, materials, and equipment prepped for action. 🧫
• Keeping a sharp eye on details and logging all your results like a pro. ✍️
• Making sure our lab is spick and span and safe for everyone. 🧼
• Looking after and calibrating our cool lab gear. 🔧
• Playing a key role in our team to hit those crucial deadlines and keep our work top-notch. ✅

Your Apprenticeship Journey:

• You'll be working towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship qualification. 🎓
• It's a fantastic mix of learning on the job and dedicated off-site training. 📚

• No prior lab experience needed! We're all about potential and a passion for learning. ✨

What we're hoping you bring:

• A genuine spark of interest in science and all things lab-related. 🔥

• A massive willingness to learn and follow instructions. 👍
• Basic IT skills. 💻
• GCSEs (or predicted grades), especially in Maths and Science, would be a bonus, but not a deal-breaker! 💯

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with laboratory tests and experiments under supervision
• Preparing samples, materials and equipment for testing
• Accurately recording results and maintaining laboratory records
• Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
• Following health & safety procedures and quality standards
