What you'll be doing:

• Helping organise the dentist's day and keeping the appointment diary on point. 🗓️
• Getting the surgery prepped and spick-and-span, following all the health and safety rules. ✅
• Being one step ahead of the dentist, anticipating their needs during treatments. 🚀
• Providing direct assistance during dental procedures and ensuring patients are comfortable before they head home. 🤗
• Giving patients clear pre and post-treatment instructions. 🗣️
• Helping with follow-up care arrangements. 🤝
• Keeping our equipment, like handpieces and aspirators, in top condition. 🛠️
• Processing and mounting X-rays. 📸
• Making sure we always have the materials and lab work we need. 📦
• Using our dental software for data entry. 💻
• Greeting patients warmly at the door and guiding them to and from the surgery. 👋
• Booking appointments for both the dentist and hygienist, in person and over the phone. 📞
• Confidently discussing treatment costs with patients and handling payments with a smile. 💰

Key responsibilities

• Assist the dental operator in the provision of dental treatment.
• Prepare and clear the surgery consistent with health and safety protocol.

• Utilise keyboard skills for data entry on dental software programme.

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade Grade 9-4/A*-C or equivalent), Maths (grade Grade 9-4/A*-C or equivalent))
