Apprentice Business Administration Assistant 🚀

Are you ready to kickstart your career and gain amazing real-world experience? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Apprentice Business Administration Assistant to join our team and make a real difference! 🙌 This is your chance to dive into the world of care services, support individuals in their life choices, and contribute to our awesome mission. 🌟

In this role, you'll get stuck into crucial administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. You'll gain invaluable knowledge and skills through our structured learning programme and hands-on experience. Think managing important information systems, boosting operational efficiency, and building strong connections with staff and external agencies. 🤝

You'll be reporting directly to our Housing Manager and Registered Manager, learning from the best! 🧠

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will involve:

  • Crushing your inbox by answering emails like a pro. 📧
  • Being the point person for calls from our support team, local councils, utilities, and tradesmen – you'll record and report everything to the Housing Manager. 📞
  • Nailing Grant and benefit application forms. 📝
  • Building solid relationships with Plymouth City Council, focusing on housing benefit and council tax. 🏘️
  • Keeping a hawk eye on our properties for any damage or maintenance needs. 👀
  • Scheduling tasks like a boss with our maintenance team. 🗓️
  • Assessing and responding to risks to clients and staff – safety first! 🛡️
  • Analysing and monitoring utility bills and payments. 💡
  • Becoming a wizard of compliance issues and housing laws. 📖
  • Completing health and safety audits to ensure everyone's safe. ✅
  • Recording hours and allocating tasks to the maintenance team. ⏰
  • Coordinating meetings – sending invites, booking rooms, the whole shebang! ☕
  • Mastering our organisation's computer database and word processing. 💻
  • Organising computer files and ensuring regular, timely backups according to company procedures. 📁

This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute to something meaningful. If you're ready to get your hands dirty (in a good way!) and make an impact, we want to hear from you! ✨
