As an Optical Apprentice, you'll be the go-to for helping customers find their ideal eyewear, handling frame adjustments, fixes, fittings, and even rocking pre-screening eye exams and all the important admin. 🤓

- Book follow-up appointments for customers. 🗓️
- Use a focimeter to figure out prescriptions. 🧐
- Explain contact lens options like a pro. 💡
- Conduct pre-screening tests (retinal imaging, pressure, visual field). 🔬
- Shine when explaining offers and products. 📣
- Handle payments like a champ. 💰

To snag this apprenticeship, you'll need:
- To be 16 or older. 🎂
- Not currently in full-time or part-time education. 🚫📚
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above. 🏅
- Confidence, passion, and serious enthusiasm! 🤩
- Awesome teamwork and customer service skills. 🌟
- To be ready to work 35 to 38.75 hours per week. ⏰
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear and explain product features.
- Conduct pre-screening eye examinations and perform optical measurements.
- Perform spectacle frame adjustments and basic repairs.
- Manage optical product orders and complete relevant administrative paperwork.
- Provide professional customer service, including greeting and payment processing.
