People Operations Administrator (Apprenticeship) 🚀

Ready to kickstart your career in People Operations? We're looking for a motivated individual to join our GLL team as a People Operations Administrator, working towards a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship over 15 months! 🗓️

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing all new starter info to get our amazing employees set up on CoreHR and paid on time. 💸
  • Setting up and managing shift patterns and employee details in CoreHR. ⏰
  • Handling employment references and making sure all pre-employment checks are spot on. ✅
  • Running reports to keep our employee data clean, accurate, and always up-to-date. 💻
  • Being the go-to person for employee and manager queries, providing quick and helpful answers. 💬
  • Keeping all employee information super confidential and secure, following all data protection rules. 🔒
  • Lending a hand to the wider People team with all sorts of admin and people-focused tasks. 👋
  • Taking on other administrative duties as needed to help the business thrive. ✨

Key responsibilities

  • Process new starter information to ensure employees are correctly set up on CoreHR and added to payroll in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain shift patterns and relevant employee information within CoreHR.
  • Complete employment references and ensure all required pre-employment information is accurately recorded.
  • Run control reports for data corrections and ensure employee records held on CoreHR are accurate, complete and kept up to date.
  • Respond to employee and manager queries, providing accurate and timely information and escalating more complex queries to the relevant individuals.
