About the role

Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - Peterborough 🚀

Ready to kickstart your career in healthcare? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Pharmacy Assistant Apprentices in Peterborough! 🧑‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

What you'll be doing:

You'll be the backbone of our pharmacy, helping to keep everything running smoothly. This means supporting our customers at the medicines counter, answering their questions, and working closely with the pharmacy team to provide a safe and efficient service. You’ll also get hands-on experience with prescription preparation and supply (don't worry, you'll have supervision!), managing stock and deliveries, and keeping our records shipshape. Plus, you’ll be using our pharmacy systems for prescriptions and sales, and keeping our space spotlessly clean and confidential. Teamwork makes the dream work, so expect to collaborate for top-notch customer service! 🤝

What we're looking for in you:

A real passion for healthcare and helping people is a must! ❤️ You'll need awesome communication and customer service skills to connect with everyone. Being detail-oriented and eager to learn will go a long way. If you can thrive in a busy environment and are reliable, punctual, and professional, you're our kind of person. Basic IT skills are helpful, but no prior pharmacy experience is needed – we provide full training! 💯

Your Apprenticeship Journey:

You’ll be working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, which typically takes around 15 months. We offer blended learning, combining on-the-job training with guided learning. You'll need to commit to your contracted working hours and learning schedule. 📚

Why join us?

💰 Earn while you learn in a valuable healthcare role.

🏅 Get a nationally recognised qualification.
