What you'll be doing:
- Providing essential personal care, including assisting with washing, dressing, bathing, and feeding, all according to individual Care Plans. π§ΌπΏ
- Supporting clients with light household tasks like dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, and tidying up. π§Ήβ¨
- Helping prepare and cook meals. ππ₯¦
- Encouraging clients to maintain their independence by assisting with personal care and domestic tasks they can manage. πͺ
- Undertaking shopping trips, collecting pensions, paying bills, and managing mail when required, providing receipts for all transactions. ποΈβοΈ
- Communicating effectively with clients and their families, building positive relationships. π€
- Liaising with external professionals like Social Workers and District Nurses, and internal teams to ensure seamless care delivery. π€
- Contributing to team communication regarding rota changes and client needs. π
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines for best practice. β
- Actively participating in training and continuous professional development to grow your skills. π±

Key responsibilities
- Work alongside and assist Senior Carers and Team Leaders
- Liaise with Social Workers, District Nurses and other agency professionals when required
- Assist clients with personal care needs (e.g., dressing, washing, feeding) as per Care Plan
- Assist clients with, or carry out, light housework and meal preparation
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures
