What You'll Be Doing:

• Prep Work Pro: Get work areas ready and ensure floors are spotless, clear, and safe for everyone. 🧹
• Floor Makeover Master: Sweep and clean floors before we lay down new magic. ✨
• Removal Rockstar: Help with the heavy lifting and removal of old flooring. 💪
• Subfloor Specialist: Get subfloors prepped and ready for their stunning new look. 🛠️
• Material Marvel: Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting all sorts of awesome flooring materials. 📏
• Smoothing Superstar: Prepare and apply floor-smoothing compounds to perfection. 💯
• Plywood Pal: Help with measuring and installing plywood like a champ. 🏗️
• Learning the Ropes: Gain hands-on experience installing safety vinyl, carpet, carpet tiles, and LVT. 🎓
• Tool Tidy: Keep tools, equipment, and work areas looking sharp and organized. 🧼
• Safety First Champion: Strictly follow health and safety procedures to ensure everyone works safely. ⛑️
• Team Player: Work closely with experienced flooring professionals, soaking up their knowledge and developing practical skills. 🤝

Key responsibilities

• Prepare work areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Assist with uplifting and removing existing floor coverings, and prepare subfloors for new flooring.
• Assist with measuring, cutting, fitting flooring materials, and installing plywood.
• Learn to install various flooring types, including safety vinyl, carpet, and LVT.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard, and communicate professionally.

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English Language / Literature (grade Grade 4 - 9 (or equivalent)), Maths (grade Grade 4 - 9 (or equivalent)))
