Manufacturing Apprentice – Silicone Rubber Production 🚀

Get hands-on experience and kickstart your career in manufacturing! We're looking for motivated individuals to join our Silicone Rubber Production team as Apprentices. This is your chance to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. 🏭

What you'll be doing:

• Mastering the safe operation of silicone rubber extrusion machinery to create high-quality components and profiles. 🌟
• Helping with machine setups, preparing materials, changing tooling, and keeping an eye on the process to make sure production runs smoothly and we minimise waste. ♻️
• Performing quality checks using measuring tools and your sharp eyes to ensure our products meet exact dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards. ✅
• Spotting and reporting any production issues, defects, or equipment problems to supervisors, helping us get better and ensure top-notch product quality. 💡
• Accurately and securely packaging finished goods, getting them ready for dispatch according to customer needs and shipping schedules. 📦
• Keeping production, quality, and stock records up-to-date where needed. ✍️
• Assisting with raw material handling, stock control, and inventory management in the warehouse and production areas. 🛒
• Keeping our production and warehouse areas clean, organised, and safe through daily housekeeping duties, following all health and safety rules. 🧹
• Adhering to company quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 💪
• Teaming up with production operators, supervisors, and warehouse staff to hit production targets and meet customer delivery deadlines. 🤝
• Developing practical skills and knowledge in manufacturing operations, extrusion processes, quality control, warehouse management, and continuous improvement as part of your apprenticeship. 🧠
