5 Day Construction Work Experience – Year 9/10

About the role

Spend five days getting a first hand look at how a construction site operates. You’ll learn about different careers in construction, see how projects are planned and delivered, and take part in safe, supervised activities alongside experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• 👷 Explore different construction careers including site management, engineering, surveying and skilled trades.
• 🛠️ Take part in supervised practical activities and learn how tools, materials and equipment are used safely.
• 📋 Learn how a construction project is managed from planning and health & safety through to building and completion.
