Production & Engineering Trainee 🚀

Ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge manufacturing? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Production & Engineering Trainees. This is your chance to get hands-on experience with modern plastics manufacturing processes and equipment, from moulding and forming to CNC operation and fabrication. 🛠️

What you'll be doing:

  • Monitoring Production: Keep an eye on our production lines to ensure we're hitting our quality, cost, and delivery goals. 🎯
  • Inspections & Testing: Conduct routine checks, testing, and basic troubleshooting under guidance. 🔍
  • Continuous Improvement: Help us identify ways to boost efficiency, cut down on waste, and make our products even better. 🌱
  • Technical Skills: Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. 📚
  • Equipment Setup: Assist with setting up and changing over production machinery. ⚙️
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, production, and quality data. 📊
  • Safety First: Strictly follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures. ☢️
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with production, quality, and engineering colleagues. 🤝

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with monitoring production processes to ensure output meet quality, cost and delivery targets
  • Carry out routine inspections, testing and basic trouble shooting under supervision
  • Support continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance product quality
  • Read an interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, production and quality data
