What you'll be doing:

  • Booking customer equipment into our workshop and keeping detailed job records. 📝
  • Lending a hand with diagnosing and fixing computer hardware and software issues. 🔧
  • Chatting with customers about repairs, quotes, and any techy questions they have. 💬
  • Setting up, configuring, and testing brand-new computers and IT gear. ✨
  • Helping with stock management: receiving deliveries, organizing, and tracking inventory. 📦
  • Keeping our workshop clean, tidy, and safe for everyone. ✅
  • Learning to provide essential first-line technical support to our business clients. 🚀
  • Supporting experienced engineers with installations, IT projects, and system rollouts. 🏗️

Key responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, take accurate messages and direct calls.
  • Welcome customers to the reception area and provide professional customer service.
  • Assist with diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software faults.
  • Prepare, configure and test new computers and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records.
