Here's what you'll be up to:

  • Championing Child Development: Support children's social, emotional, learning, and practical skill growth. 🌱
  • Safety First! Ensure children are safe, well, and that all child protection procedures are followed. 🛡️
  • Individual Support: Implement our key worker system to meet the unique needs of each child and their family. 🤝
  • Observing & Assessing: Track and document children's learning and development, keeping records accurate and sharing them effectively. 📝
  • Parent Partnership: Collaborate with parents and carers to keep them in the loop about their child's day and progress. 🗣️
  • Creating a Fun Space: Organize, maintain, and ensure a clean, tidy, hygienic, safe, and super child-friendly environment. 🧸
  • Activity Leader: Plan, prepare, and supervise engaging activities like arts and crafts, cooking, reading, music, and outdoor adventures! 🎨📚🌳
  • Health & Hygiene: Keep toys and equipment clean and safe, and ensure children's nutritional needs are met with compliance to food safety regs. 🍎
  • Nappy Changes & Potty Training: Provide support with nappy changes and potty training. 🚽
  • Team Player: Collaborate with your nursery colleagues to deliver a high-quality nursery service. 🌟
  • Following the Rules: Adhere to all nursery policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines. ✅
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on childcare developments and participate in training opportunities. 🧠
  • Respect for All: Treat everyone with dignity and respect, in line with equality legislation. 💖
