  • Putting effective strategies into action to support pupils, like providing extra explanations, adjusting tasks, and encouraging focus and participation. 💡
  • Lending a hand with assessing and documenting student progress. 📈
  • Leading planned activities for individuals or small groups of students. 🧑‍🏫
  • Getting lessons prepped by organizing materials and resources. 📦
  • Championing inclusive education and integration, fostering positive interactions between students. 🤝
  • Supporting the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and promoting good conduct across the school. 🌟
  • Communicating with the teacher about each child's learning journey. 🗣️
  • Taking on playground duties as part of a rota. 🤸
  • Participating in training sessions and meetings. 🗓️
  • Adhering to all procedures concerning child protection, health, safety, security, and confidentiality, reporting any concerns appropriately. 🛡️
  • Taking on any other reasonable duties as assigned by the teacher or Headteacher. 👍

Key responsibilities

  • Implement strategies to support pupil learning and participation.
  • Assist with the assessment and recording of pupil progress.
  • Deliver planned activities to small groups or individual pupils.
  • Organise materials and resources for lessons.
  • Support the class teacher in managing pupil behaviour.
