Your awesome responsibilities:
- Care, Learning & Development:
- Helping to plan and deliver exciting activities that are perfect for each age group and get kids excited to explore! π¨
- Making sure our indoor and outdoor spaces are super safe, stimulating, and ready for adventure. π³
- Keeping track of each child's progress with observations and assessments, sharing cool insights with parents. βοΈ
- Spotting any extra needs and working with our support team and other pros to help out. π€
- Boosting kids' confidence and curiosity through awesome interactions and play. π€ΈββοΈ
- Being a "Key Person," building super strong, trusting bonds with children and their families. π₯°
- Making sure daily routines, like meals and personal care, are handled with kindness and consistency. π
- Helping children transition smoothly into and within the nursery, and even to the main school. π«
- Relationships & Communication:
- Building genuine connections with children, offering them a secure and loving space. π€
- Partnering with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's day and progress. π£οΈ
- Collaborating with colleagues, contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking team that's all about providing the best for our kids. π
- Representing our nursery with pride, always embodying its values and professional standards. π―
- Safeguarding & Welfare:
- Always putting the children's best interests first. π₯
- Understanding and following our safeguarding and child protection policies. π‘οΈ
- Knowing how to spot signs of concern and respond appropriately. π¨
- Maintaining confidential and trusting relationships with families. π€«
- Keeping our nursery super clean, organised, and safe according to our procedures. β
- Supervising and supporting children during play, mealtimes, and personal care. π
- Additional Duties:
- Assisting with minor accidents and ensuring accurate reporting. π©Ή
- Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and parents' events. ποΈ
- Helping with general nursery tasks like snack prep and cleaning equipment. π§Ό
- Guiding students on placement and contributing to a positive learning vibe for everyone. π§βπ«
- Taking on other reasonable duties as needed by the Nursery Manager or Room Leader. π

Key responsibilities
