About the role
Warehouse Operative ๐ฆ๐
Ready to be a key player in our fast-paced warehouse? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team! You'll be essential in making sure our operations run smoothly and our customers get exactly what they ordered.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Picking & Packing ๐: Accurately pick orders, ensuring they meet customer needs. This includes quality checks, verifying Lot numbers, and checking expiry dates. You'll also pack goods securely into cartons, seal, wrap, and label pallets, then move them to the dispatch area.
- Quality Control โ : Report any product issues to the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor immediately. Double-check all orders for quality before they leave and fix any errors.
- FLT Operations (If Trained & Licensed) ๐: Safely operate Forklift Trucks. Keep your truck clean, complete daily logs, and report any faults. Report accidents or near misses straight away. Accurately put stock away and record locations for easy traceability.
- Goods In ๐: Check deliveries against delivery notes and report any shortages to purchasing. Safely put stock away, noting storage locations. Scan paperwork to keep our system accurate. Only open roller shutters when receiving or loading stock. Inform the Pharma Team immediately about relevant deliveries. Use SAP effectively.
- Container Handling ๐ข: Only open containers once the seal and number match the documentation. Report any discrepancies for investigation. Conduct visual checks before unloading and notify management of any issues. Unload accurately, palletize goods, and put stock away after checks.
- GDP Compliance ๐ก๏ธ: Strictly adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements. Obtain temperature tickets where needed and inform the Pharma Team immediately about pharmaceutical deliveries. Ensure CMR documentation is received when necessary. Protect goods from bad weather and report discrepancies. Supervise third-party drivers in the warehouse.
- Health & Safety โ๏ธ: Comply with all Health & Safety rules, including wearing PPE. Promote H&S awareness and report accidents, near misses, and pest sightings. Keep the work area clean and hygienic to prevent contamination and accidents.
- Stock Management ๐ข: Perform stock counts as requested and support company stocktakes.
- General Duties ๐งน: Keep warehouse and pick-face areas tidy. Follow company policies for holidays and sickness. Complete ad-hoc tasks as needed.
