Ready to kickstart your career in Early Years Education? Elmscot Group is looking for motivated individuals to join us as Nursery Apprentices and complete a national apprenticeship! 🚀

We’re all about nurturing young minds and providing a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You'll be working alongside highly trained professionals who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young children. We champion the 'in the moment' learning style, encouraging all our little ones to explore, discover, and develop through the power of play. 🧸🎈

As a Nursery Apprentice, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the daily routines and well-being of the children. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the daily care and routines of children in your department and across our settings. 👋
  • Engaging with children to support their learning and development in age-appropriate ways. 🧠
  • Preparing learning resources and setting up exciting indoor and outdoor activities under the guidance of our experienced team. 🎨
  • Undertaking daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. ✨
  • Contributing to electronic record keeping and supporting child development observations. 📝
  • Building positive relationships with children, colleagues, families, and external agencies. 🤗

This apprenticeship will provide you with comprehensive training, including a valuable paediatric first aid qualification, and you’ll have your own in-house mentor to guide and support you every step of the way. 🤝 You'll gain hands-on experience and develop the skills needed to become a key player in ensuring young children learn, develop, and stay healthy and safe.

What you'll need:

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (or C) or above, or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications. 💯
  • A successful Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required. 👮‍♀️

We’re excited to welcome enthusiastic and caring individuals to our team. If you’re passionate about childcare and eager to learn, this is the perfect opportunity for you! 🌱
