What You'll Be Doing:
- π Contributing to delivering an amazing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- π€ Mentoring and guiding our fantastic volunteers, students, apprentices, and agency practitioners.
- π‘οΈ Keeping our children safe and happy, protecting them from any harm.
- π Providing top-notch care that boosts children's health and well-being.
- π¨ Upholding our safeguarding policies with diligence and reporting any concerns immediately to the Nursery Manager & Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- π Championing equality and fostering an inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- π― Ensuring each child's unique needs are met through personalized care and education.
- β Staying up-to-date with all school policies and procedures, including incident reporting.
- π§βπ« Acting as a Key Person for a group of children, integrating their needs into daily routines and curriculum.
- π Identifying and supporting children with additional or special educational needs.
- π€ Collaborating with relevant external agencies to provide the best support.
- π Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on children's progress and development.
- π£οΈ Communicating effectively with parents/carers at meetings to discuss their child's development.
- π Assisting with snack preparation, catering to all dietary, allergy, and cultural requirements.
- π Participating in supervisions and weekly team meetings.
- π Attending relevant training and staying current with best practices.
- π Adhering to confidentiality policies and our staff code of conduct.
- π Taking on other duties as needed to support the Nursery Manager and Head Teacher.

Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Supervise children and protect them from dangerous or harmful situations.
- Provide a high level of care that will enhance the childrenβs general health and well-being.
- Adhere to the Schoolβs safeguarding policy and procedures to promote the welfare and safety of children.
- Support the preparation of snacks, ensuring that all childrenβs dietary, allergy and cultural needs are met.
