Ready to dive into the exciting world of science? We're looking for an eager Laboratory Assistant Apprentice to join our team! You'll be the backbone of our lab, helping with daily tasks, getting samples prepped, and keeping our space safe and tidy. ✨ We've got your back with full training and support throughout your apprenticeship.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Helping out with lab tests and experiments (under awesome supervision, of course!). 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬
• Getting samples, materials, and equipment ready for action. 📦
• Keeping super accurate records of everything you do. ✍️
• Keeping our equipment clean, maintained, and calibrated. 🛠️
• Being a pro at following health & safety rules and quality standards. ✅
• Teamwork makes the dream work – helping us hit deadlines and stay on point! 🤝

Your Apprenticeship Journey:

• You'll be working towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship. 🎓
• It's a mix of hands-on learning in the lab and dedicated off-the-job training. 💻
• We provide all the training and support you need – no prior lab experience? No problem! 🙌

What We're Looking For in You:

• A genuine passion for science and lab work! 🌱
• You're detail-oriented and super organised. 🎯
• A willingness to learn and take direction. 🧠
• Basic IT skills would be a bonus. 🖱️
• GCSEs (or predictions!), especially in Maths and Science, are a plus but not a deal-breaker. 🔢

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with laboratory tests and experiments under supervision

• Accurately recording results and maintaining laboratory records
• Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
