- Building Connections: Forge positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them in the loop about their child's journey and milestones. đŖī¸
- Creating a Safe Zone: Design and maintain a secure, stimulating, and safe environment where every child can thrive. đ
- Prep & Polish: Help get the learning space ready for the kids and tidy up at the end of each session â because a clean space means a happy learning space! â¨
- Snack Squad & Mealtime Support: Assist children during mealtimes and help prepare healthy snacks and drinks. đ
- Creative Curriculum Contribution: Dive into professional discussions, help plan our exciting curriculum, and track the progress of the children you support. đ¨
- Emotional Support Superstar: Aid children in their personal, social, and emotional development, flagging any concerns to the relevant team members. đ¤
- Inclusive Support: Under guidance, assist children with special educational needs and those at risk, ensuring they meet their support plan targets. đ
- Progress Tracking: Monitor, assess, and record the development of the children in your care. đ
- Information Hub: Share vital information about children with colleagues, parents, and external agencies, following school policies. âšī¸
- Independence Champion: Support children with eating, dressing, and hygiene, encouraging them to become self-sufficient. đĒ
- Health & Safety First: Administer medications (with agreement and following policy) and provide basic first aid in emergencies. đŠš
- Policy Navigator: Be familiar with and adhere to policies on child protection, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting any concerns. đĄī¸
- Duty of Care: Show a commitment to the well-being of all children and staff, ensuring health and safety standards are met. â
