What You'll Be Doing:
- Hardware Guru: Get hands-on with desktop and server hardware β from setting up new gear to delivering it to client locations. Think of yourself as a tech architect! ποΈ
- Data Centre Explorer: Venture into data centres to install racks, servers, storage, and network devices. It's like a tech playground! π’
- Problem Solver: Diagnose and fix faulty equipment, then get it back up and running by installing and configuring hardware and software. You're the tech detective! π΅οΈββοΈ
- User Champion: Be the go-to person for first-line user support, tackling requests both on-site and over the phone. Heroes needed! πͺ
- On-Site Specialist: Travel to client sites across England to resolve issues that need your physical presence and contribute to exciting project work. Adventure awaits! πΊοΈ
- Team Player: Jump in and support your colleagues, especially during busy times. We're all in this together! π€

What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 1-2 years in a 1st Line, client-facing support role is a must. π―
- Education: An IT degree (minimum 2:2 classification) or equivalent. π
- Certifications: MCP, MCITP, A+, and CCENT are highly valued.
- Hardware Know-How: Solid understanding of PCs, Laptops, Servers, and Printers. π¨οΈ
- Bonus Skills: Experience with Windows Server (2008, 2012), Networking, Active Directory, Apple/MAC devices, and Citrix is a plus! π
- OS Expertise: Excellent knowledge of desktop operating systems (XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8 & 10), MAC OSX, and Microsoft Office. π»
- Peripheral Pro: Experience installing and configuring peripheral devices like Network Printers, ADSL Routers, and LAN Switches.
- Data Centre Savvy: Experience in data centres is recommended.
- CCNA: A CCNA certification would be a great addition!
