Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Making sure we're always following the rules for UK/EU customs regulations. 🇬🇧🇪🇺
- Accurately entering customs declaration info into our system – precision is key! 🔢
- Hitting important targets (KPIs) both for us and our clients. 🎯
- Becoming a wizard with all things customs. 🧙♂️
- Communicating with customs and other government bodies professionally and on time. 🗣️
- Staying sharp on the latest import regulations. 📚
- Building awesome relationships with customs authorities and government agencies. 🤝
- Handling all the necessary paperwork that proves the legality and nature of imported goods. 📜
- Understanding import quotas, tariffs, trade agreements, and HMRC rules. 💰
- Helping to cost jobs and make sure we're always maximizing profitability. 📈
- Liaising with HM Customs to keep goods moving smoothly through the legal channels. 🚦
- Juggling deadlines and tricky situations, where a bit of negotiation might be needed to meet those crucial timescales. 🤯

Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee shipments and the full supply chain process for assigned accounts.
- Ensure compliance with UK/EU customs regulations and process associated import paperwork.
- Accurately transpose customs declaration information into the brokerage system.
- Cost jobs to ensure maximum profitability for the organisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and correspond with customs authorities and other government agencies.
