You'll be paired with a supportive buddy to learn the ropes and work towards becoming a Key Person, taking on the responsibility of nurturing individual children. Your apprenticeship will include exciting training days with our provider and hands-on experience at the nursery. π€
What you'll be doing:
- Helping our team deliver top-notch care, education, and daily operations. π
- Building awesome relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Contributing awesome ideas to learning plans that spark curiosity and development in children. π‘
- Chatting with the team about how we can best support each child's unique needs.
- Keeping our nursery a super safe, clean, and healthy space. β
- Following all our nursery's awesome policies and procedures.
- Making sure we always hit those health and safety standards.
- Working with your buddy to champion inclusion and celebrate diversity. π
- Observing, assessing, and planning engaging, stimulating, and challenging activities that match each child's learning style and abilities. π§

Key responsibilities
- Assist team members in providing high standards of compliance, care and education for children.
- Contribute ideas to planning ensuring children receive high quality of learning and development.
- Liaise with nursery staff regarding childrenβs specific needs and requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
- Observe, assess and plan interesting, stimulating, and challenging activities.
