What you'll be doing:

  • Helping to plan and run engaging activities that kids will love.
  • Championing learning through play, following our awesome framework.
  • Making sure our space is a safe, fun, and welcoming hub for everyone. 🌟
  • Keeping everything tidy and up to scratch.
  • Being a guardian of safeguarding and health & safety – we've got this! ✅
  • Observing and monitoring kids' progress, like a superhero tracker! 🦸
  • Noting down cool observations to help build development plans.
  • Sharing important updates with the senior team and parents. 🗣️
  • Encouraging awesome behavior, kindness, sharing, and respect. 💖
  • Using positive vibes and being a role model for good conduct.
  • Pitching in with daily routines – think mealtimes, naps, and getting dressed! 🍼
  • Helping kids feel secure and stable with consistent routines.
  • Being a fantastic team player, working hand-in-hand with colleagues and parents. 🤝
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with everyone – team, kids, and families.
  • Joining in on staff meetings and training to keep your skills sharp. 🧠
  • Keeping all information confidential and professional – discretion is key! 🤐
  • Following all nursery/setting policies and procedures to a T.
  • Upholding guidelines for safeguarding, equality, inclusion, and diversity. 🌈

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • Observe and monitor children's progress

  • Assist with daily routines
