What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- ๐ Studying hard for your AAT qualification and putting those new skills into action with real client work.
- ๐ป Getting hands-on training with industry-leading accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, and Iris.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Developing crucial client-facing skills: you'll be meeting clients, handling calls, and crafting professional emails.
- ๐ Assisting with preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- ๐งพ Helping to get Self Assessment and VAT returns ready.
- โ๏ธ Supporting bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients.
- โฐ Pitching in to plan and run our payroll bureau, making sure we hit those important deadlines.
- ๐ Creating a weekly work plan to keep your tasks organised and deadlines met.
- ๐ง Handling general office admin tasks.

Key responsibilities
- Study towards the AAT qualification and apply learned concepts to client work.
- Develop client-facing skills including meeting clients, handling calls, and corresponding by email.
- Assist with accounts preparation for various entities, Self Assessment tax returns, VAT returns, and bookkeeping.
- Support the planning and operation of the payroll bureau, working to deadlines.
- Handle general office tasks and produce a weekly work plan to manage tasks.
