About the Role:

We're looking for energetic individuals eager to kickstart a career in the roofing industry! This apprenticeship offers hands-on training and valuable experience in all aspects of roofing. You'll learn from the ground up, gaining skills that are in high demand.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Site Prep & Safety First! 🦺 You'll be responsible for setting up essential safety equipment like edge protection and safety harnesses, ensuring a secure work environment for everyone, especially when working at heights. Maintaining safe working practices is paramount.
  • Mastering Pitched Roofing: 🏠 Get ready to dive into the core of roofing! This includes accurately measuring, marking out, cutting, and skillfully fixing battens, breathable felt underlay, concrete and clay tiles, and natural slates.
  • Continuous Learning & Development: 📚 You'll attend regular training sessions at an accredited academy. This isn't just about books; you'll get practical experience in technical rig work, learn about building physics, and prepare for your End-Point Assessment (EPA) to become a certified professional.

Key responsibilities
