What you'll be doing:
- Helping clients with their daily routines, from waking up to winding down β think assisting with getting dressed, washing, and personal care. π§Ό
- Supporting clients with mobility, whether they have physical disabilities or need help with aids and equipment. πΆββοΈ
- Providing comfort and care to those who are feeling unwell, including helping with meals and drinks. π
- Delivering compassionate end-of-life care, offering a supportive presence during sensitive times. β€οΈ
- Boosting clients' mental and physical wellbeing through engaging chats, fun outings, reading, hobbies, and recreational activities. π£οΈπ¨
- Assisting with light household tasks like making beds, tidying up, and keeping things clean. π‘
- Helping with clients' laundry and clothing needs. π
- Preparing and serving simple meals and drinks, and handling the washing up. βπ½οΈ
- Keeping accurate records of care, contributing to client reviews, and participating in training sessions. βοΈπ
- Following all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and confidentiality. π
- Reporting any changes in a client's health or circumstances promptly to your supervisor or manager. π£
- Encouraging clients to stay independent, make their own choices, and maintain their dignity. β¨

Key responsibilities
- Support clients with morning and evening routines, including personal care and mobility assistance.
