This is a fantastic 24-month fixed-term training opportunity where you'll dive into the world of IT operations, gaining essential skills to become a full Systems/RA Administrator (Band 3) upon successful completion. 🎓

As part of our IT Operations Team, you'll be a superhero for our clinical and corporate systems, ensuring all data is accurate, secure, and follows NHS standards. Your mission? To manage user access, handle smartcards, and keep our systems running smoothly so our amazing staff can focus on patient care. 🏥
What you'll be doing (and learning!):
- 🚀 Data Management: Setting up systems to capture and update essential reference data, ensuring it's always timely and accurate.
- 🗂️ Digital Record Keeping: Introducing electronic methods to catalog information, creating a solid audit trail for all system changes.
- 💳 Smartcard Support: Assisting with the creation and issuing of smartcards for our team.
- 🧠 Knowledge Sharing: Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a high standard of system knowledge across the board.
- 📄 Documentation Guru: Creating and managing all the documentation needed to support user functions.
- 🔒 Confidentiality Champion: Upholding strict patient data confidentiality in line with all relevant laws and policies.
- ✅ Quality Control: Ensuring all reference data is standardized and maintained to the highest quality.
- ✍️ Procedure Documentation: Documenting working procedures in an agreed format, keeping everything up-to-date and accessible.
- 📊 Data Entry: Recording all necessary information and changes accurately and promptly within our systems.

Key responsibilities
- Set up methods for capturing and updating reference data on a timely basis.
- Introduce electronic mechanisms for cataloguing information/updates to support audit trails.
- Support/manage Registration Authority (RA) in the creating/issuing smartcards.
- Work with staff to ensure system knowledge is maintained at a high standard.
- Administer and build all documentation required to support user functions.
