What's the deal?
This is a permanent, full-time Level 3 Apprenticeship position. You'll be learning on the job and working towards a fantastic Early Years qualification. 🎓 We're a super friendly and experienced team, and we can't wait to teach you how to provide top-notch care and education to little ones aged 3 months to 5 years. 🧸
What you'll be doing:
Get ready for fun! 🎉 You'll be reading stories, giving cuddles, hosting imaginary tea parties, exploring the outdoors for bugs 🐞, getting creative with painting 🎨, and so much more! You'll work with small groups of children, helping them learn and grow. We believe in nurturing each child's development, and you'll be a key part of that journey. Plus, you'll be working in a vibrant, purpose-built nursery with plenty of green space! 🌳

Our hours:
We're open Monday to Friday, 7 am to 6:30 pm, so you'll work a variety of shifts within these times. ⏰

Key responsibilities
- Learning to provide high standards of care and education to children aged 3 months- 5 years old.
- Completing an Early Years Apprenticeship course.
- Learning to care for small groups of children.
- Learning to promote each child's development.
- Working collaboratively with experienced nursery team members.
Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (Essential Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GCSE pass level or equivalent standard Willingness and ability to undertake Level 3 Qualification in Early Years and Childcare Willingness and ability to undertake Food Safety training Demonstrates enthusiastic approach to working with children and learning practically within nursery Able to provide relevant activity ideas and ability to care for children Desirable Current paediatric and/or first aid at work certificate Current food hygiene certificate Recent previous experiences of working with 3 months - 5-year-olds within a childcare setting.)
