As a Bar and Waiting Apprentice with Community Pubs, you'll be the ultimate host, making sure every guest feels welcomed, happy, and well-fed. Your Apprenticeship:
- No college visits needed! Our work-based training includes in-person sessions and remote calls with your dedicated Learner Coach every 6 weeks.
- You'll have a mentor right here in the pub to guide you.
- Gain valuable Functional Skills in English and Maths (if needed) with tailored support.
- Regular reviews every 12 weeks to track your progress and get feedback.

This is a Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship (Food and Beverage Service Level 2), including Functional Skills in Maths and English.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience.
- Offer recommendations to customers from behind the bar.
- Prepare and present drinks according to specifications and customer expectations.
- Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after customers whilst they dine.
- Ensure the bar is safe, legal, and clean, addressing issues promptly and safely.
