Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

- Whip up, cook, and plate food super fast, safely, and to our high standards. ๐ฏ
- Handle guest questions and any issues like a pro. ๐
- Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless and organised โ attention to detail is key! ๐งผ
- Get the department ready for service and pack it down, including stock rotation and prep. ๐ฆ
- Stay in the loop with what's happening at the business, from promos to new menu items. ๐ฐ
- Jump into all our training sessions, online learning, and assigned modules. ๐
- Always stick to brand standards, licensing laws, and company policies. ๐
- Complete all necessary paperwork, due diligence records, and daily/weekly cleaning tasks. ๐

At Mitchells & Butlers, you'll work towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months. You'll be in a full-time kitchen role, mentored by passionate chefs while you train. ๐งโ๐ซ Not only will you earn a nationally recognised qualification, but you'll also be crucial in running our kitchens, creating fantastic dishes, and ensuring our guests always get top quality. ๐
What your apprenticeship includes:
- No boring college days! Your apprenticeship is all work-based training, with face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. Plus, you'll have a mentor in the workplace. ๐ค
- Gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs or equivalents). โโ
- Catch-up reviews every 12 weeks with you, your Line Manager, and your Lifetime Learner Coach. ๐

Role: Chef Academy Production Chef Level 2 including Functional Skills in maths and English.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and efficiently to brand standard.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and back of house areas with great attention to detail.
- Have open communication with the entire team, promoting a supportive atmosphere and assisting other team members.
- Set up and closedown the department including stock rotation and prep and par process.
- Participate in all in-house training, e-learning and the completion of assigned learning modules.
