✨ Apprentice Quality & Engineering Support ✨

Mec-Com is on the hunt for a motivated apprentice eager to dive into the world of engineering and quality control! 🚀 If you're keen to learn, get hands-on, and grow with an experienced team, this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Quality Control Guru 🧐: You'll be assisting our experienced Quality Engineers with inspecting and testing materials, in-process components, and finished products to make sure they meet our high standards. Help us spot and fix any product defects or issues, and learn the ins and outs of quality control procedures to keep our products top-notch! ✅
  • Project Management Powerhouse 📊: Support our Project Managers by helping to plan, run, and wrap up projects on time and within budget. You'll be a key player in making sure everyone's on the same page and contributing to project success using cool project management tools and methods. 🤝
  • Engineering Explorer 🛠️: Get up close and personal with our manufacturing processes and equipment by working alongside our Engineering team. You'll be part of troubleshooting and finding solutions for any equipment or process challenges, gaining practical experience in making things even better. 💪

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine interest in engineering and a burning desire to learn! 🔥
  • You’ve done your homework on how to get to us, as public transport is limited. 🚗
  • Ability to travel to both our company address and In-Comm Training Services (Aldridge WS9 8UG) for your training. 📍

The Deal:

This is a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support apprenticeship, spread over 36 months. For the first 14 months, you'll be spending 2.5 days a week at In-Comm Training Services, gaining valuable skills and knowledge. 🎓
