Ready to kickstart your career in sports? 🏅 AAAsports is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Sports Coach Apprentices! This is your chance to gain awesome hands-on experience in coaching, customer service, admin, events, and keeping our facilities awesome.

You'll be supporting our amazing members, their families, and our whole team, all while working towards a Level 2 Community Activator Coach apprenticeship. We’ll provide you with top-notch training and mentorship to help you shine! ✨

As an Apprentice Sports Coach, you’ll be a key player in creating a super fun, safe, and welcoming vibe for everyone. You'll help deliver classes, camps, competitions, and events, learning the skills you need to become a confident and brilliant coach. 🤩

What You'll Be Doing:

• 📚 Get activity areas ready and set up equipment safely for sessions.
• 👋 Greet members, parents, and carers with a friendly, professional welcome.
• 📝 Help with registrations, check attendance, and keep track of who's who.
• 💪 Support our qualified coaches with warm-ups, demos, and cool-downs.
• 🌟 Motivate members, offer positive vibes, and help them smash their goals.
• 📊 Accurately track member progress using the AAAsports Skill Tracker.
• 🏠 Ensure members are collected safely at the end of their sessions.
• 💬 Respond to questions and help with bookings, calls, emails, and general admin.
• 🎉 Support the planning and running of camps, competitions, parties, and other AAAsports events.
• 🔍 Check equipment and report any issues or safety concerns.
• 🧼 Help keep our facilities, including activity areas, reception, and equipment, clean, safe, and welcoming.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll get structured training and mentoring to build your confidence and learn how to lead activities (with supervision, of course!). You'll also join team meetings and training sessions to boost your professional development. 📈

The Nitty-Gritty:

• Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, and right-to-work checks.
• You’ll need to be happy working evenings and weekends. 🌙
• Willingness to undertake cleaning and equipment duties is a must. 🧽
• You’ll be participating in physical activities. 💪
• Travel to other AAAsports venues in Sunderland may be required. 🚗
