As an apprentice, you'll get to shadow experienced engineers, gaining invaluable insights into the inner workings of our business. You’ll develop a broad understanding of our operations while honing your practical engineering skills. Your mission? To help keep our machinery running safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth production. 💪
What You'll Be Doing:
- 🕵️ Shadowing skilled engineers and absorbing best practices.
- 🔧 Assisting with the maintenance and repair of production machinery.
- 📦 Supporting the upkeep of equipment like corrugators, case makers, and die cutters.
- 📦 Helping maintain automated conveyor and transfer systems.
- 📦 Assisting with the servicing of palletisers, strapping machines, and wrapping machines.
- 🗓️ Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities.
- 🧠 Helping to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults.
- 🛠️ Assisting with the maintenance of our general building infrastructure.
- ✅ Strictly following all health and safety procedures and company standards.

Your Journey & Qualifications:
This apprenticeship is a fantastic chance to gain real-world experience with a range of industrial machinery, all while working towards a recognised engineering qualification:
- Apprenticeship Standard: Engineering Maintenance Technician - Single Discipline
- Training & Assessment: Company Training Plan & Assessment
- College: Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Development Knowledge (1 day per week for 2 years in Bicester) 📚
- Workplace Qualification: Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance
- Functional Skills: Level 2 Maths & English (if required) 🔢
- Final Step: End Point Assessment at the end of your apprenticeship! 🏅
