As an Apprentice Floorlayer, you'll be mentored by seasoned pros, mastering the installation of:
- Carpets 🧶
- Vinyl Flooring ✨
- Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) 💎
You'll learn to:
- Prep floors like a pro: cleaning and levelling subfloors. 🧹
- Become a master measurer: calculating materials for every project. 📏
- Install flooring to a professional standard, ensuring every job looks amazing. 👌
- Safely and effectively use specialized flooring tools and equipment. 🛠️
- Handle flooring materials with care. 📦
- Collaborate with experienced team members on installations in customers' homes. 🏡
- Keep worksites spotless, tidy, and secure. 🌟

- Provide friendly and professional service to our clients. 😊
We're looking for someone who has:
- A genuine interest in construction, home improvement, or interior design. 💡
- A full UK driving licence or a strong willingness to learn to drive soon. 🚗💨
- The flexibility to travel to various job locations. 🗺️
Your Training:
This Level 2 Floor Layer Apprenticeship offers a mix of on-the-job training and dedicated off-the-job learning. You'll gain practical skills with our team and attend block release training at Webs Training in Beeston (one week every 10 weeks) – all costs covered by us! 💯
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced floorlayers to complete installations
- Prepare floors for installation, including cleaning and levelling subfloors
- Install a variety of flooring products (carpets, vinyl, LVT) to a high standard
- Use specialist flooring tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Attend apprenticeship training and complete coursework and assessments
