Are you ready to kickstart an exciting career in healthcare? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Dental Nurse Apprentices! This is an 18-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma course with City & Guilds, designed to equip you with all the skills you need to excel. 🚀

What you'll be doing:

• Becoming a pro at assisting our dentists during procedures. 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️
• Mastering the art of sterilising and preparing equipment – keeping things super clean and safe! 🧼
• Handling reception duties like a boss, including welcoming patients and managing appointments. 🗓️
• Playing a key role in ensuring every patient has an amazing experience from the moment they arrive. ✨
• Providing efficient and reliable support chairside, always upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality. 💯

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Greeting patients warmly and helping them with appointment scheduling. 👋
• Professionally handling basic patient enquiries. 🗣️
• Getting surgeries ready, sterilising instruments, and maintaining top-notch infection control. ✅
• Supporting clinicians during treatments and accurately updating patient records. ✍️
• Making sure patients feel comfortable, reassured, and have a positive dental visit. 😊
• Keeping an eye on stock and ensuring our surgeries are always ready to go. 📦
• Maintaining clean, safe, and fully equipped clinical areas. 🌟
• Upholding patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. 🤫
• Working closely with dentists and the wider team to deliver brilliant care. 🤝

Key responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with treatments and provide chairside support.
• Sterilise and prepare equipment, maintaining infection control to CQC standards.
• Perform reception duties, including patient welcome and appointment scheduling.
• Support patient comfort, reassurance, and overall dental experience.
• Maintain clean, safe, and fully equipped clinical areas and manage stock.
