- Getting hands-on with mixing mortar and prepping worksites like a pro (safety first! 🛡️).
- Teaming up to set out, measure, and cut bricks and blocks with precision.
- Laying bricks, blocks, and stone to craft everything from solid foundations to epic walls and cool decorative pieces. 🧱
- Cracking the code of construction drawings and blueprints. 📏
- Keeping our worksites clean, tidy, and totally safe. ✅
We're looking for legends who live within about an hour's commute of our location. 🚗 Your off-the-job training kicks off at York College with block release, and the rest of your skills will be honed right here on the job with our expert team. 🎓 Let's build something amazing together! 💪
Key responsibilities
- Learning to mix mortar and prepare work areas safely.
- Assisting with setting out, measuring, and cutting bricks and blocks.
- Laying bricks, blocks, and stone to construct foundations, walls, and decorative structures.
- Learning to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment on-site.
