What You'll Be Doing:
- Connecting & Communicating: Build genuine relationships with the people we support, using empathy, tact, and diplomacy. We'll even provide training on specialist communication methods if needed! π£οΈ
- Daily Living Support: Assist with essential daily activities, including personal care and maintaining hygiene standards, all under expert supervision. We'll teach you safe moving and handling techniques, including hoist use. πͺ
- Care Plan Champions: Get involved in developing and implementing care plans, empowering individuals to lead their lives to the fullest. π
- Activity Buddies: Join in on outings, activities, and recreational pursuits to help people enjoy their day to day. πΆββοΈ
- Home Makers: Help with household chores like cooking, cleaning, and laundry to create a comfortable and independent living space. π§Ό
- Record Keepers: Accurately document important information to ensure top-notch care. βοΈ
- Budget Managers: Handle daily finances for shopping and errands, assisting with the management of personal funds. π°
- Apprenticeship Pros: Successfully complete your Level 2 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship within the agreed timeframe. π

Key responsibilities
