We handle claims for road traffic accidents, workplace injuries, and serious injuries, working hard to get the best outcomes for our clients. We're all about solving problems efficiently, often outside of court. ⚖️

About the Role:

This is a fantastic chance to join a brand-new team and help shape the future of Minster Law! You'll be diving into all sorts of tasks, from your first calls with clients to getting their cases set up. We're looking for someone who's super organised, a great communicator, has a strong work ethic, and is keen to contribute to our team's success. You'll also be supporting your colleagues and management as needed. Our focus is mainly on road traffic personal injury claims. 🚗💨

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Being the first point of contact for new claims coming from our insurer partners and customers. 📞
  • Logging all claim details accurately in our Case Management System (CMS) and using MS Excel. You'll become a pro at this system! 💻
  • Searching and updating client details in the CMS and Excel to ensure all our information is current. 📊
  • Responding to file requests and making follow-up calls to clients, doctors' offices, hospitals, payroll departments, and insurance companies. 🏥
  • Working with colleagues digitally via Teams and Outlook, and communicating with external parties using Outlook. 📧
  • Providing clear advice to customers about the claims process and collecting necessary information like receipts, photos, or valuations. 📝
  • Flagging any tricky, complex, or high-value claims to a solicitor for their expertise. 💡
  • Gathering info on new claims and helping to scan and organise mail and documents onto the correct files. 📁

We're Looking For Someone With:

  • A genuine commitment to giving our clients the best possible service. ✨
  • Amazing communication skills – you're comfortable chatting on the phone, writing emails, and drafting letters. ✉️
  • The ability to meet goals in a fast-paced environment while keeping your work quality and client care top-notch. 🎯
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills. 💯

Working Hours:

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. ⏰

Benefits:

  • No weekend work! 🎉
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for support. ❤️
  • Health Care Cash Plan. 🏥
  • Cycle-to-Work Scheme. 🚲
  • Loads of perks and discounts through Perkbox. 🎁
  • Generous holiday allowance plus "Time for Me" days. 🌴

Future Prospects:

  • After successfully completing your apprenticeship, there's a real chance to stay with Minster Law and grow into roles like Claims Handler! 📈
