What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support Coaching: Help deliver gymnastics classes for kids and teens of all ages and skill levels. πŸš€

  • Participant Focus: Track and evaluate how participants are progressing. πŸ‘€
  • Inspire & Encourage: Promote participation, build confidence, and foster a love for sport and physical activity. πŸŽ‰
  • Safety First: Make sure all activities meet safeguarding, health & safety, and governing body standards. πŸ›‘οΈ
  • Event Support: Help out with holiday courses, special events, workshops, and birthday parties. πŸ₯³
  • Build Connections: Create positive relationships with gymnasts, parents, colleagues, and visitors. πŸ‘‹
  • Maintain the Space: Help keep our training environment clean, safe, and organised. 🧹
  • Apprenticeship Commitment: Complete all your apprenticeship coursework and attend training sessions. πŸŽ“

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of gymnastics classes for children and young people of varying ages and abilities
  • Support the planning and preparation of engaging, safe and inclusive coaching sessions
  • Help monitor and evaluate participant progress
  • Encourage participation, confidence and enjoyment in sport and physical activity
  • Ensure all activities are delivered in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and gymnastics governing body requirements
