What you'll be doing:

  • Backstage Hero: Assisting our talented dentists, therapists, and hygienists during a wide range of clinical procedures. Think fillings, root canals, crown preparations, extractions, and even minor oral surgery! 😷
  • Cleanliness Captain: Championing our Health and Safety and Cross Infection policies, ensuring our surgeries are always top-notch. ✨
  • Patient's Best Mate: Supporting patients throughout their visit, making them feel comfortable and informed. 🥰
  • Record Keeper Extraordinaire: Accurately updating patient notes, medical histories, and charting on both paper and computer systems. 💻
  • Reception Rockstar: Occasionally stepping up to handle reception duties – greeting patients, answering calls, and managing appointments. 📞
  • Waste Warrior: Ensuring all waste, from clinical to domestic, is disposed of correctly and safely. ♻️
  • X-ray Assistant: Helping prepare patients and equipment for X-rays, and assisting with processing and storing images. 📸

Key responsibilities

  • Assist clinicians during various dental procedures.
  • Follow infection prevention and control and health and safety policies.
  • Update and maintain clinical records and patient information.
  • Perform reception duties, including managing appointments and patient queries.
  • Prepare and maintain dental surgeries and manage waste disposal.

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade Grade 4/C or above), Maths (grade Grade 4/C or above))
