HR Administrator

Ready to kickstart your career in HR? We're looking for a proactive and organized individual to join our team as an HR Administrator. You'll be the backbone of our HR operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. 🚀

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling the daily grind of office admin: filing 📁, scanning 📄, photocopying 🖨️, and keeping documents shipshape.
  • Keeping our records squeaky clean and our shared inboxes managed. ✉️
  • Inputting and updating crucial info on HR systems, spreadsheets, and our MIS. 📊
  • Being the MVP of meetings: booking rooms 📅, juggling diaries 🗓️, prepping agendas 📝, and taking key notes.
  • Helping us spread the word about job openings and getting application packs ready. 📣
  • Tracking applications and lending a hand with recruitment admin. 🧑‍💻
  • Following up on references and keeping an eye on outstanding responses. 🔎
  • Assisting with DBS checks, verifying right-to-work, and checking qualifications. ✅
  • Maintaining accurate compliance records and our vital Single Central Record. 💯
  • Keeping confidential staff files and personnel records locked down and organized. 🔒
  • Updating training schedules and absence records. 🤒
  • Supporting payroll admin: timesheets ⏰, starter/leaver forms 📝, and contract changes.
  • Being the point person for payroll providers when needed. 📞
  • Creating awesome induction packs for our new team members. ✨
  • Scheduling induction meetings and making sure new starters have all the info they need. 👍
  • Logging mandatory training and sending out timely reminders. 🔔
  • Keeping training completion records fresh and up-to-date.
  • Drafting clear and concise emails and staff communications. ✍️
  • Sending out reminders and helping us keep our noticeboards and digital platforms looking sharp. 💡
  • Stepping up for reception duties: greeting visitors, checking IDs, and ensuring we follow all safeguarding procedures. 👋
  • Providing a friendly and professional vibe to colleagues, applicants, visitors, and external agencies. 😊
  • Handling sensitive HR information with the utmost discretion. 🤐
  • Adhering strictly to GDPR, safeguarding, and Trust procedures. 🛡️
  • Supporting the circulation of policies and managing document version control. 📜
  • Knowing when to flag any concerns or issues to the right person. 🙋‍♀️

What we're looking for:

  • A keen eye for detail. 👀
  • Strong organizational skills. 🗂️
  • Excellent communication abilities. 🗣️
  • Discretion and a professional attitude. 😎
  • Comfort with handling confidential information. 🤫
  • A willingness to learn and grow. 🌱
