You'll be supported by a recognized apprenticeship program, working towards a professional qualification, while diving into practical aspects of accident prevention, incident investigation, compliance, and continuous improvement. 🚀

What you'll be doing:

• Incident Management & Investigation: Dive deep into investigating vehicle accidents, road traffic incidents, and driver safety. You'll help track and report near misses and workplace incidents, supporting thorough root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are completed. You'll also be involved in reporting under RIDDOR. 🕵️‍♀️
• Compliance & Risk Management: Get hands-on with completing and reviewing risk assessments, monitoring compliance with our health & safety procedures, and maintaining essential documentation and reporting systems. You’ll help identify trends and risks, and contribute to safety performance reports. 📊
• Workplace & Transport Safety: Contribute to vital safety initiatives for our vehicles, drivers, and transport operations. You'll assist with safety assessments, participate in workplace inspections and audits, and support programs aimed at reducing operational risks and improving overall safety. 🚚
• Training & Safety Culture: Support the delivery of toolbox talks and safety briefings, helping to communicate safety information effectively. You'll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture across our transport, warehousing, and operational teams, and assisting with initiatives to enhance health, safety, and wellbeing for everyone. 👍
