What you'll be doing:
- Safely and accurately managing, ordering, receiving, and dispensing medicines and pharmaceutical products. 📦
- Providing helpful advice to patients on their medications (prescription and over-the-counter) and knowing when to escalate to a healthcare professional. 🗣️
- Helping to keep the pharmacy running smoothly, from business tasks to stock control and quality checks. 💯
- As you grow, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and support other pharmacy team members. 🙌

Your Qualification Journey:
- Undertake a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A-levels). 🎓
- Upon successful completion, you'll be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). ✨
- Your training will be a mix of on-the-job learning and blended study. 💻

Key responsibilities
- Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
- Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
- Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
- Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
