Forklift Technician - Onsite Service & Repair 🛠️

Are you ready to get hands-on and become a master of all things forklift? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Onsite Customer Forklift Technicians. This is your chance to service and repair a variety of LPG, diesel, and electric-powered forklift trucks directly at customer locations.

What you'll be doing:

  • High-Standard Servicing: You'll perform top-notch servicing on forklift trucks, focusing on preventative maintenance to keep them running smoothly.
  • Functional Checks: Using a detailed checklist, you'll ensure all equipment is fully operational and compliant with current legislation.
  • Routine Maintenance: This includes essential tasks like changing oil and filters.
  • Thorough Examinations: For qualified individuals, you'll conduct thorough examinations of equipment.
  • Customer Focused Repairs: You'll identify and quote additional chargeable repairs to our customers, providing excellent service.
  • Component Repair: You'll be diving deep into repairs of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components, including valves, rams, final drive, gearbox, and engine parts.

Key responsibilities

  • Servicing LPG, diesel and electric powered forklift trucks to a high standard, with a view to preventative maintenance.
  • Using a check sheet to ensure equipment is fully functional and conforms to current legislation.
  • Identifying additional chargeable repairs that can be quoted to the customer.
  • Repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components, including hydraulic valves, rams, final drives, gearboxes, engines, and other components.
  • Carrying out Thorough Examinations (pending qualifications).
