What you'll be doing:
- Learning all the ins and outs of growing top-notch watercress. 🌿
- Carrying out essential farm duties like bed prep, planting, fertilising, harvesting, and general upkeep. 🚜
- Helping us improve our production methods and keep the farm running smoothly. 🚀
- Maintaining farm areas, buildings, and equipment to the highest standards. ✨
- Completing any necessary paperwork to keep things organised. 📝
- Understanding and managing the water cycle for optimal watercress growth and environmental compliance. 💧
- Working collaboratively with your team to create a positive and productive work environment. 🙌
What you'll need:
- Physical fitness is a must – you'll be active all day! 💪
- A keen desire to learn about every aspect of watercress farming. 🧠
- Willingness to attend training both on and off-site, including essential First Aid. 🚑
- A commitment to following course instructions and completing tasks. ✅
- A valid driving licence is essential, as you might be working at different sites across the UK. 🚗
- A strong understanding of and adherence to our Health & Safety and Environmental Policies. 💯

Key responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties as instructed, including bed cleaning, planting, and harvesting.
- Follow course syllabus and work towards completing all assigned tasks.
- Complete any paperwork required for the day-to-day needs of the farm.
- Assist in implementing new production methods to improve farm efficiency.
- Always observe company Health & Safety and Environment Policy requirements.
