What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Helping deliver amazing care and learning for kids aged 0-5 years. π§βπΌ
- Contributing to a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment that sparks children's learning and growth. π±
- Building cool relationships with children, parents, carers, and your colleagues. π€
- Supporting children's communication, language, social, and emotional skills through play and cool activities. π£οΈ
- Assisting with planning and running age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS framework. π¨
- Working towards becoming a Key Person, looking after a small group of kids and tracking their learning. π
- Observing, monitoring, and recording children's progress with guidance. π
- Always following safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery rules. β
- Helping set up and keep our indoor and outdoor learning spaces engaging. π³
- Supporting children with personal care, mealtimes, and daily routines, encouraging their independence. π§Ό
- Keeping the nursery super clean, hygienic, and safe. π―
- Joining team meetings, training, and your apprenticeship learning. π
- Teaming up with the nursery crew to give the best childcare possible. π€
- Growing your knowledge, skills, and behaviours throughout your apprenticeship! π§
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years
- Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment that promotes children's learning and development
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues
- Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development through play and planned activities
- Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
