Workshop Assistant 🛠️ (Part-time/Full-time)
Are you passionate about hands-on learning and ready to make a real impact? We're looking for energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Workshop Assistants! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic educational environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting teachers in bringing both practical skills and theoretical knowledge to life for our students.
- Providing constructive feedback to pupils on their progress and achievements, all under the guidance of the teacher.
- Keeping our workshops spick and span – this includes general maintenance of the workshop space and machinery.
- Getting the workshops ready for action: setting up tools, equipment, and all the resources needed for practical sessions.
- Safely managing and operating a wide range of power tools. 💪
- Keeping track of consumable materials and letting us know when it's time to reorder. 🛒
- Contributing to a positive learning atmosphere by assisting with behaviour management.
What you'll need:
- A strong understanding and ability to handle a wide variety of power tools safely. 💯
- Excellent organisational skills to manage materials and workshop resources.
- A proactive and helpful attitude.
