What You'll Be Doing:

  • Social Media Guru: Schedule awesome posts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. 📱
  • Graphic Design Wiz: Create eye-catching graphics and flyers for our fundraising events using Canva. 🎨
  • Newsletter Ninja: Draft monthly newsletters to keep our amazing volunteers, donors, and community partners in the loop. 📧
  • Website Whisperer: Help us keep our website fresh by updating events, news, and links. 🌐
  • WhatsApp Channel Champ: Grow our WhatsApp channel to make sure families stay connected with our local drop-in sessions. 💬

Office Admin & CRM Rockstar 🌟:

  • Data Entry Expert: Accurately input referral data for new families and children into our Charitylog CRM. 📊
  • Volunteer Matchmaker: Track volunteer activities in the CRM and connect them with local support opportunities. 🤝
  • Data Quality Controller: Run weekly checks on our CRM data to keep everything accurate and up-to-date. ✅
  • Report Generator: Create basic impact reports from Charitylog to help managers with funding applications. 📈
  • Inbox Manager: Monitor our central email inboxes and respond to routine inquiries from the public. 📨
  • Office & Event Prep: Get meeting rooms ready for training and trustee sessions, and order essential office supplies. 🗒️

Events & Projects Pal 🥳:

  • Fundraising Promoter: Help us get the word out about fun local fundraising events like Quiz Nights and community fairs! 🎉
  • Drop-in Support: Assist with the smooth running of our family drop-in sessions. 🎪
  • Story Collector: Gather and archive inspiring family stories, testimonials, and photos for our impact reports. 📸

Supporting Our Mission:

  • Policy Promoter: Help us implement and review our policies and procedures, including equality, safeguarding, and health & safety. 🛡️
  • Network Builder: Contribute to the growth of the Home-Start network locally, regionally, and nationally. 🌍
  • Service Advocate: Actively seek opportunities to promote Home-Start Sutton's services across the community and online. 📢

Key responsibilities

  • Schedule social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Support the maintenance of the charity website by updating events, news blogs, and resource links
  • Support in monitoring the central email inboxes and when necessary, answer routine inquiries from the public
